85-year-old man dies in fire in his mobile home

An 85-year-old man died in a fire in his mobile home this Sunday, January 26, in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. 18 firefighters were mobilized during the operation.

A man died in a fire in his mobile home this Sunday, January 26, indicate the Alpes-Maritimes firefighters in a press release. The firefighters were called around 5 a.m. to the Rives du Loup campsite, in Tourrettes-sur-Loup (Alpes-Maritimes).

When they arrived, the 18 firefighters dispatched to the scene found the structure completely engulfed in flames. Two nozzles were installed in order to extinguish the fire and prevent any spread to a nearby boiler room.

The body of the occupant, an 85-year-old man, was discovered inside the rubble.
