Announced in the sights of Chelsea, Reda Belahyane should not join the club anytime soon. According to information from Fabrizio Romano, the English club does not intend to secure the services of the Moroccan international.
In a statement on the “X” platform, Romano affirmed that the Moroccan player is neither close to joining the London club nor in negotiations with it.
Previous reports had suggested that the Atlas Lion was among Chelsea’s priorities as a potential replacement for player Casadei. However, the English club appear to be pursuing other targets in the transfer market.
Belhayane would also attract the interest of several major Italian clubs, such as Napoli, AC Milan, Lazio and Inter Milan, who have expressed their willingness to sign him.
-Furthermore, Lazio have already taken a step forward by opening negotiations with Verona, in order to agree on the amount of the transfer, discussions are continuing, but nothing has yet been decided.
Belahyane played 18 matches in all competitions, where he delivered solid performances and made two assists.
