Djokovic throws in the towel; Zverev finalist!
This Friday morning, on the program, there was the men’s semi-final of the Australian Open 25. The Serbian Djokovicten-time winner of the tournament, was opposed to the German Zverev.
The opposition did not reach its conclusion, Djokovic having thrown in the towel after only an hour and 20 minutes of play being forced to retire following a muscle tear in his left thigh.
German Alexander Zverev is in the final of the Australian Open for the first time in his career.
But it will be his 3e Grand Slam final after 2 losses at the US Open 2020 and Roland-Garros last year.
