Ronald Araujo extends six years at Barça
The Uruguayan central defender is now linked to the Catalan club until 2031.
Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo extended his contract with FC Barcelona at six, until June 30, 2031, the Catalan club announced in a statement on Thursday.
The 25 -year -old central defender arrived at Barça in 2018 from the Uruguayan club Boston River. He made his debut with the first team in October 2019 and became essential from the 2020/2021 season.
-The Uruguayan international played 155 games with the first team, during which he scored 8 goals and issued 6 assists, according to the statistics of the club’s official website.
