The Epic Games Store is offering its penultimate free game in January for a short time

The Epic Games store is about to update its weekly free games service with a new title. In recent weeks, the store has focused on discounted indie games, such as last week Escape Academy. The game offered this week is no different and comes from the same studio that developed it last year The Star Named EOSwhich was very well received.

While The Star Named EOS remains at full price, Behind the Frame : The Finest Scenery will be available in your Epic Games library for $0.00 starting today at 4:00 p.m. UTC. As always, the showcase will highlight its new gift for a week, after which it will move on to a new game, which has not yet been announced.

Available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Nintendo Switch ($279.99 currently on Amazon), Behind the Frame : The Finest Scenery is highly rated on OpenCritic and Metacritic with averages of 73/100 and 78/100, respectively. The system requirements for the macOS and Windows versions of the game are relatively low, requiring just an Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of VRAM for both versions. Please note that this week’s giveaway applies to these versions and not the versions that Akupara Games has released for the PS4, Switch or iOS. More details on trading can be found in the Epic Games store listing ( ).
