Shiffrin has been sidelined since suffering a violent fall in giant slalom on Nov. 30 in Killington, Vermont, which left her side punctured and severely bruised her oblique muscles.
-The 29-year-old skier is still focused on her progress, rather than getting her 100e career World Cup victory. She plans to compete in slalom and giant slalom at the Alpine Ski World Championships, which take place next month in Austria.
