Switzerland has successfully entered the main round of the world championship. In Herning, Andy Schmid’s protégés largely beat Tunisia with a score of 37-26.
The Swiss never let their opponents gain confidence. They already led 20-11 at halftime. Lenny Rubin and Luka Maros each scored seven goals, while Gino Steenaerts and Samuel Zehnder scored six times.
This success, the second in a row after the 30-28 against Poland in the preliminary round, allows us to maintain some slim hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals. The Swiss will play again on Thursday against the Olympic champion and defending champion, Denmark, before facing Italy on Saturday.
