Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel is sure to have nightmares after missing a golden chance Monday against the St. Louis Blues.
The Knights heroically came from behind at the end of the third period with two goals in the last four minutes of regular time to force overtime.

After scoring Vegas’ third, the American had the opportunity to close the books a little over a minute into the extra period, being perfectly served by his teammate Mark Stone.
The former Buffalo Sabers had all the time in the world to send the puck into a cage left gaping by goaltender Jordan Binnington, but he instead missed the target.

-Eichel obviously blamed himself a lot and what had to happen happened. The Blues won in a shootout a few moments later by a score of 5 to 4.
The Golden Knights will have the opportunity to resume their revenge against the Missouri club on Thursday evening.
