Noé Roth stood on the podium at the start of the World Cup. The 24-year-old from Zug placed 2nd in Lake Placid, behind Sun Jiaxu and in front of 4 other Chinese.
Noé Roth missed the world champion by more than 12 points, rewarded with 123.9 points, to achieve his 4th World Cup victory. The 2nd Swiss, Pirmin Werner, also managed to reach the final, but the Zurich native had to settle for 11th place.
