Casa-Sports hopes for a quick outcome for Nicolas Jackson’s training compensation

Casa-Sports de Ziguinchor expresses its confidence in the imminent and positive resolution of the financial problem linked to the transfer of their former player, Nicolas Jackson, from Villarreal to Chelsea in 2023. The club expects to receive training compensation for the player, in accordance with FIFA rules.

In a press release addressed to the APS, the general manager of Casa-Sports, Siaka Bodian, declared: “Casa Sports is following the evolution of the situation with interest, but above all discernment, lucidity and serenity. […] and works with the administration of the Senegalese federation to overcome the related difficulties in order to enable the club to return to its funds as quickly as possible. » He also calls on supporters to remain mobilized to support the team in its efforts to regain its past glory.

The situation arises from an administrative omission by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), which would not have registered Casa-Sports as a training club. This error prevented the club from collecting several million CFA francs owed to it, as FIFA was unable to identify Casa-Sports as the beneficiary of the training compensation during Jackson’s transfer to Chelsea.

As a reminder, the training allowance is compensation provided for clubs having trained a player between 12 and 23 years old, upon the signing of his first professional contract or a transfer between clubs from different associations before the age 23, according to FIFA rules.
