Moroccan Fatima Abouali, president of the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency (AMAD), was elected head of the executive office of the African Union for sports medicine.
The election of Ms. Abouali took place Thursday in Cairo, during the meetings of the executive office of this body, held on the sidelines of the work of the training session on the fundamentals of sports medicine, organized from January 16 to 18.
Ms. Abouali was acting head of the African Sports Medicine Union, following the death of its former president, Constant Antoine Roux last July.
