The Toronto Maple Leafs left the ice to boos following their home loss to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night, and the least we can say is that it doesn’t affect them that much.
The team, which is still at the top of the Atlantic Division with 56 points in 45 games, has lost its last three games. If the Toronto public, usually taciturn, hoped to send a message to its favorites by insulting them, it failed.

“I just try to ignore it,” said forward Mitch Marner on Wednesday on the sidelines of the team’s practice.
“We just try to do our job and play a complete 60-minute match,” he then added.
His teammate William Nylander, for his part, completely washes his hands of it.
-“It doesn’t really matter if they boo us,” he said. We know we are a good team.”
Players see the current streak as simply a bad patch, a period of poor form that can occur during an 82-game season.
“Good teams know how to get out of that,” Nylander said.
“It’s only three games, what’s the problem?” he then blurted out.
