Laurent Prud’homme, the general director of the Olympique Lyonnais football club, denounced in a message published on his X account, incidents perpetrated during the post-match of the Coupe de France between OL and Bourgoin- Jallieu, this Wednesday January 15.

In this message, he calls for viewing the images in order to take action accordingly: “OL does not tolerate any violence from its supporters. We are contacting Bourgoin to view the images, take the necessary measures and identify the perpetrators of this violence, whether verbal, physical or racist. These incidents must no longer tarnish the image of OL”, wrote Laurent Prud’homme on his X account.

According to our colleagues at Dauphine Libéréincidents took place just after Bourgoin-Jallieu qualified on penalties. A woman in her forties was reportedly injured and extensive material damage was reported.

The Isère prefecture declared this Wednesday evening that it had not made any arrests. The Bourgoin-Jallieu police, for their part, claim to have not recorded any complaints after the excesses at the end of the match.

“I’m not sure that the Bad Gones represent Lyon. OL must find a solution to avoid all this, because it’s not good for their image. It spoils the party”, for his part reacted the president of FC Bourgoin-Jallieu, Djemal Kolver.

Before these incidents, Berjallian spectators had invaded the pitch to celebrate the qualification of their club, which plays in National 3 (5th division).
