The news came at the end of last season: the adventure was over for the Orbea Factory Team, led by Pierre Lebreton, and all the drivers – with the exception of Pierre de Froidmont – had announced their departure. For 2025, the Spanish brand is setting up a brand new structure, the Orbea Fox Factory Team, with Fran Perez, a former Spanish professional cyclist, as technical director.
« The management of the team will thus be entirely ensured by Orbea. This new orientation also led to the creation of a dedicated Course Service on the brand’s site in the Basque Country. », Explains the team in its official press release.
A new structure, and new drivers! For 2025, the Orbea Fox Factory Team welcomes three new athletes to its ranks: Simon Andreassen, European XCC champion and XCM world champion, Rebecca Henderson, Australian champion, and Jennifer Jackson, Canadian XCC champion . They join Pierre de Froidmont, who has worn the colors of the brand since 2022.
