Michelle Gisin will now focus on the giant and speed disciplines. The Obwalden will compete this evening (live from 5:35 p.m. on RTS 2) in the 103rd and final slalom of her World Cup career.
“It’s been more than twelve incredible years in the Slalom World Cup, and I’ve given it my all“, said the 31-year-old skier in a video posted on Instagram. Michelle Gisin ran her first slalom at this level in December 2012 in Semmering.
She has been on the podium 9 times, with only one success in 2020 at… Semmering. Last winter, she obtained 9 top-10s in 11 races, finishing 4th in the specialty standings. But this season, a 19th place at Killington is his best result in the discipline.
