Following the various interruptions of play that occurred last Saturday during the reception of Union Saint-Gilloise, the club, in collaboration with the police services of the city of Charleroi, the fan coaching service and those responsible for security, organized a meeting to analyze the events and identify those responsible.
Pending final measures, the club has taken the decision, in consultation with the competent authorities, to prohibit travel to Gantoise, on Friday January 17, for the 22nd day of the Jupiler Pro League, to groups of “Block 22” and “Storm Ultras 2001” supporters.
The club will communicate in the coming days the long-term measures that will be taken.
Sporting intends to pursue a firm policy to completely eradicate this type of behavior in the future in order to guarantee security and respect within its premises for all of its supporters.
