France wins three of the four titles at the Junior Freeride Worlds in Kappl, Austria. Kea Chrétien, Aurélie Martin and Noah Peizerat are crowned.
“One, two, three, drop in!” » The freeride season began this Monday with the junior world championships, still based in Kappl, Austria. France carried out a real raid with three titles out of four possible. Noah Peizerat won in the men’s skiing, with Aurélie Martin and Kea Chrétien taking the victory in snowboarding.
Noah Peizerat completed the day of competition perfectly. Starting in last position in the last event, men’s skiing, the Savoyard excelled by perfectly mixing freestyle and freeride. No falls, fluidity, control and a very high score. 90.67 and 7 points ahead of Swiss Léo Flett. The German Mika Rolshoven finished 3rd, just ahead of Arthur Rolland, from La Clusaz.

At the start, the men’s snowboard crowned another young Frenchman. Kéa Chrétien, 18, from Courchevel, crushed the competition. He obtained a score of 91.00 and beat the American Tyler Thomson by 13 points. The Norwegian Theodor Salen is 3rd (73.67). Kea Chrétien retains his title obtained last year.
France therefore won everything in snowboarding. Among the ladies, Aurélie Martin, only 16 years old, won with a score of 73.00. She is ahead of New Zealander Brooke Hansen (70.00) and American Teagan Rilee Turner (68.00). Only women’s skiing therefore escaped the Blues. Victoria Troubat, 17, from Les Arcs station, settles for 5th place (63.00). Hannah Baldwin largely dominated and finished ahead of Anjah Morgan-Smith and Elfy Rouiller.
