The Maladrerie OS U18s eliminated Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 32 of the Gambardella Cup this Sunday.

This Sunday, the 32nd final of the Gambardella Cup was played to a sold-out crowd on the Maladrerie OS stadium. The Normand club, playing in R1, faced Paris SG, which plays in U19 National.
Tom Auger’s men started the game by opening the score thanks to Ibrahima Soumah in the 45th minute. Back from the locker room, PSG equalized at 1-1 in the 48th minute. After 90 minutes of trying to snatch one last goal for both teams, the match ended and headed to the traditional penalty shootout. MOS finally won 5-4, thus writing club history by winning against the formidable Paris Saint-Germain team.
US Avranches hits hard
The Manche club qualified for the round of 16 of the Gambardella Cup by winning in the penalty shootout against Dunkirk.

Émilien Joba’s youngsters traveled to Dunkirk with the U18 R1 group to compete in the 32nd finals of the Gambardella Cup this Sunday, January 12.
After a difficult start to the match, US Avranches opened the scoring in the 21st minute. However, despite this opening, Dunkirk managed to equalize before the break and took the advantage in the 70th minute. With only 20 minutes remaining, the coach made changes to try to get back into the game. These adjustments paid off, as the young Avranchinese equalized in the 82nd minute thanks to Nail Terchoul.

After a long penalty shootout where 11 players from each team took shots, the Manchois qualified for the round of 16 by winning 8-7 against Dunkirk.
Malherbe eliminates RC Lens
In a match that had been undecided for a long time, Sambi qualified his team in the 88th minute, which allowed the Malherbistes to take the advantage and win against RC Lens at home.

After being behind in the 3rd minute, Lentin equalized in the 12th minute. After more than 70 minutes of equality, Malherbiste Sambi managed to score in the 88th minute, allowing SMC to qualify directly for the round of 16 without going through the dreaded penalty shootout.
