NHL: Michael Bunting involved in road accident (Penguins)

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Michael Bunting will miss his club’s Sunday game after being involved in a traffic accident.

According to head coach Mike Sullivan, Bunting was heading to the Penguins’ home arena, PPG Paints Arena, when the incident occurred.

Even though the 29-year-old athlete was not injured, the team will have to make do without him when they receive a visit from the Tampa Bay Lightning late this afternoon.

In his first full season in a Pens uniform, Bunting posted 13 goals and 12 assists for a total of 25 points in 43 games.
