Racing’s second goal. What a collective gem the Racingmen signed on the Stadium lawn this Sunday to score their second goal! Nine players touched the ball in this action. The travelers of this victorious “blue train”: Moreira, Santos, Petrovic, Doukouré, Nanasi, Lemarechal, Bakwa, Diarra and finally Emegha.
Emegha’s double. Scorer and passer the other Sunday against Auxerre at Meinau, the Dutch striker signed his second double in Ligue 1, after that in Nantes last season (March 16, with goals in 62e et 78e minutes). At the Stadium, ”Emegoal” first took advantage of Restes’ slip to find the net for the Toulouse goalkeeper (14e) before being at the conclusion of Strasbourg’s second goal with an effective flat left foot on a cross from Diarra (26e).
A quality first half. TFC, runner-up to PSG over the previous eight days, and Racing delivered a first period of very high quality, with football played like crazy. The second half was more choppy, the Strasbourg side perhaps no longer having as much juice in their legs, a consequence of the virus which had been circulating in their locker room all week.

The flops
Emegha hat-trick canceled by VAR. Emmanuel Emegha undoubtedly thought, like all his teammates and his staff, to score his first hat-trick in Ligue 1. At the conclusion of a nice new collective movement, the Dutchman victoriously took Lemarechal’s pass at the far post (38e). Neither Benoît Bastien nor his assistant on the sidelines found fault with it. But the video refereeing detected an offside ”microphone” which it is impossible to claim could have benefited the Racing striker.
Moreira brouillon. The left back did not seem as lively as in recent days. He lacked precision on certain restarts but also missed the opportunity to put the lid on the game twice at the end of the match. He was replaced by Sobol in the 84th, who closed the door in his lane.
