Saint-Étienne and Montpellier on the trail of French winger Omar El Manssouri in Slovenia (Football)

Looking for a left winger, Montpellier and Saint-Étienne followed the trail of a Frenchman who had emigrated to break into Football. Trained in Strasbourg, where he signed professionally, then played for the Guingamp reserve team (2022-2024), Omar El Manssouri, 23, has flourished since last summer in Slovenia. The attacking midfielder from Koper (3rd in Slovenian D1) was even voted second best player in the Championship during the first part of the season.
