AS Monaco is pleased to announce the arrival of Mika Biereth. The Danish striker, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday on February 8, has signed for 5 seasons and is now linked with the Monegasque club until June 30, 2029.

Mika Biereth, current top scorer in the Austrian championship (11 goals in 16 games), was born in London on February 8, 2003. Of Danish and Bosnian origin, the athletic striker (1m87) trained at Fulham (25 goals and 15 assists in 37 games with the U18s) before joining Arsenal in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract.

Trained with the Gunners, launched in Scotland

Within the Gunners youth teams, he particularly stood out, alongside Folarin Balogun, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists in more than 20 matches (U21). In order to gain experience, Mika Biereth continued his career, on loan, in the Netherlands, taking his first professional steps with RKC Waalwijk (13 matches, 2 goals, 2022-23 season).

He then discovered the Scottish championship, still on loan, at Motherwell FC (15 matches, 6 goals, 5 assists in six months), before joining SK Sturm Graz in January 2024 and being transferred there the following summer.

A double for his flight at Sturm Graz

Within the Austrian club, the Danish Espoirs international (6 matches, 1 goal) scored 23 goals and provided 9 assists in 47 matches. Through his skill in front of goal and his moving skills, he greatly contributed to the historic season of Sturm Graz, who won the Austrian championship for the first time since 2011, while also winning the Austrian Cup, achieving the double Championship Cup for the second time in its history.

A remarkable debut in the Champions League

During the first months of this 2024-2025 season, the striker confirmed his good form, scoring 11 goals – leader in the scorers’ ranking -, including a hat-trick against RB Salzburg, and 5 assists in 16 matches. Performances which contribute to the success of the Blackies, currently leading the championship.

At the same time, after having played in the Conference League during the last financial year (3 goals in 4 matches), Mika Biereth discovered the Champions League during this financial year and distinguished himself by scoring against OSC and Girona FC.

It is now in Red & White, under the flocked diagonal jersey of number 14, that Mika Biereth will evolve, reinforcing the Monegasque offensive sector.
