In these times of budgetary restrictions, should public money be used to finance cycling lessons for a handful of adult women? Everyone will have their answer. It seems that on this one, Charles Prats started faster than Mark Cavendish, the greatest sprinter of the 21ste century. Nose in the handlebars. The evocation, in our columns, of the reception of seven residents of the Champs Montants district, Wednesday in the sub-prefecture of Montbéliard, to receive medals, diplomas and a concert of praise generated reactions which caused as many waves as when the same Cavendish zigzagged like hell in the middle of the Tour de France peloton.
A wave on which Mr. Prats, former magistrate and ex-(defeated) Ciottist candidate, wanted to ride under the RN-LR banner in Haute-Savoie. He obviously misread, or misunderstood. We were talking about a subsidy from the CAF du Doubs of €2,750. In his tweet, dated January 9, repeating our article, he speaks of €2,750 in subsidies for “each of these ladies”, before asking a question: “And you, dear taxpayer, what do you think? »
For a perfect understanding of the situation, we will remind you that €2,750 is the total sum paid by the CAF du Doubs. That this includes the purchase of equipment (helmets in particular) and that a second class of seven ladies will benefit from the same learning with what remains of the said grant.
As for the bottom line, it’s up to everyone to form their own opinion…
