He no longer trains with his club: direction Manchester City

It looks like Manchester City are about to announce some good news. The English champions are fully focused on strengthening their team after a disastrous end to the year, and a first recruit appears to be formalized soon.

Over the past few days, City have already reached a personal agreement with defender Vitor Reis and striker Omar Marmoush, but their clubs still need to be convinced. However, a third file seems to be concluded very quickly.

In addition to Reis, Abdukodir Khusanov must also strengthen the defense. The 20-year-old Uzbek defender already agreed to City a few days ago, but a deal at club level now appears to be on track.

50 millions

According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, City and RC are likely to finalize their deal this Friday. A sum of 50 million euros would be mentioned for the transaction.

The fact that the transfer is almost concluded is also confirmed by the fact that Khusanov did not take part in Lens’ training on Friday. He made it to the training complex, but did not appear on the field. It seems he doesn’t want to take any more risks.

The young defender thus seems to crown his rapid development with an impressive transfer. Khusanov joined Lens a year and a half ago, when the French club paid just 100,000 euros to sign him from Belarusian club Energetik-BGU. 31 games later, he is already taking a step towards the elite.
