Through its Heart of Rugby program, the UBB regularly contributes to supporting associations. This Wednesday, January 8, for the second year in a row, the club organized with the Restos du Cœur a solidarity distribution of Christmas gifts.
On a voluntary basis, players from UBB, the Lionesses of Stade Bordelais as well as Léo offered gifts, chosen and purchased by them, to young beneficiaries of Restos du Cœur accompanied by their families.
Kiveyn (drawn by Marko Gazzotti), Vishimi (Elsa Peyras), Eddine (Alexandre Ricard), Children (Jonny Gray), Hayat (Leo), Amir (Cyril Cazeaux), Rasul (Pierre Bochaton), Lionel (Sarah-Maude Lachance), Aurora (Maxime Luca), Arjola (Test Matthew), Ahmad (Jennifer Velst) and Marwa (Nicolas Depoortere) were able to take photos and break the ice with their adopted fathers and mothers, sharing a special moment with them by exchanging a few words and lots of smiles around a glass of fruit juice and pastries.
The children were even able to challenge their new big friends to games of table tennis, before being guided on a complete tour of the CEVA Campus training center, with stars in their eyes.
For all these young people, the UBB experience is not over. They are all invited to the UBB-Lyon match next Saturday January 25 in Chaban with their parents, the opportunity for them to further fan the hearth of their future rugby flame.
