On the eve of facing PSG in Doha for the Champions Trophy, AS Monaco announced big news. ASM strengthens its group before the clash against the reigning French champion.

Mercato AS Monaco: Before the shock, Adi Hütter extends his contract

AS Monaco announced this Saturday the contract extension of its coach Adi Hütter. Appointed in 2023, the Austrian technician was linked to ASM until June 30, 2025. Satisfied with the work of his coach, the Monegasque club resolved to continue the adventure with him. The 54-year-old therefore extended the contract for two additional seasons, until June 2027.

“AS Monaco is pleased to announce the extension of Adi Hütter’s contract for two additional seasons. The Austrian coach is now linked to the Principality club until June 30, 2027,” writes ASM on its official website.

Currently in Doha with his team to play the Champions Trophy against Saint-Germain, the Austrian coach reached an agreement with his management several days ago. This two-season extension rewards the objectives achieved since his arrival a year and a half ago. The principal concerned did not hide his joy after signing his new lease.

Adi Hütter: “I am very happy and proud”

Currently in Doha with his team to compete in the Champions Trophy against Paris SG this Sunday (5:30 p.m.), Adi Hütter, who had already reached an agreement with the management of AS Monaco, in particular with general director Thiago Scuro, for an extension, after having perfectly fulfilled the objectives requested for a season and a half, expressed his pride in continuing the adventure in the Principality.

“I am very happy and proud, it is a project of which I am part. I would like to thank my president Dmitri Rybolovlev and Thiago Scuro,” reacted the former Eintracht Frankfurt coach from Doha.

Hütter, who arrived free in Monaco in the summer of 2023, qualified the Principality club in the Champions League at the end of his first season, finishing second in the championship. This season, ASM is still on the podium in Ligue 1 and remains in a favorable position to qualify for the Champions League play-offs (currently 16th out of 36).
