Racing played its third session this Thursday at the end of the morning before the reception at on Sunday (3 p.m.). A few absences were noted, starting with that of Liam Rosenior. Sick, the British coach let his assistants – and in particular his compatriot Justin Walker – lead the session. He should be back this Friday for the first of two closed-door training sessions.

Among the players, Diego Moreira trained separately. The Portuguese U23 international did not take part in Tuesday’s session due to a painful left ankle. In the company of a physical trainer, the converted left-back winger since mid-September has increased his runs, with changes of direction, and kicked the ball without apparent discomfort. He should therefore apply for a place in the group this Sunday.

The uncertainty concerns two other players: Mamadou Sarr and Abdoul Ouattara. The concern seems less for the first who remained working in the gym and has “nothing bad”, according to Kader Mangane, the sports coordinator. The second suffers from his adductors, which could be crippling three days before the 16th day of Ligue 1.
