Their names are Marie and Alicia. Aged 22 and 23, they met six years ago during their first years of study. Both now work in the field of landscaping. For Alicia Chevallereau, it is in Bidache that her talents are exercised. With its year-round flowering that Frédéric Dupin, an active municipal councilor, pilots, the village, historically renowned for its stone, has gained.

Marie and Alicia have “a taste for adventure,” they explain. Until now, he has expressed himself “through our bivouac hikes, our ski outings and impromptu weekends” they add. Shifting gears, they registered for the start of the 2025 edition of the famous 4L Trophy which will, on a route of more than 6,000 kilometers, take them from to Marrakech crossing Spain and the Strait of Gibraltar. Throughout the race, the crews’ only aid is a compass. No GPS here. The Pyrenean experience of high altitude hikes will be useful to the two young women.

Departure February 20

Created in 1997, the sporting event for active people and students aged 18 to 25 has a humanitarian vocation. The collection of donations that it combines leads to the construction of classrooms in the south of Morocco, the distribution of non-perishable foodstuffs, school supplies, clothing, etc.

The beauty of the gesture motivated our duo who had the wall of money as their first obstacle. Purchase of the puncture-proof 4L, rigorous mechanical and medical equipment, registration and operating costs: nearly 11,000 euros to collect to be part of the raid of the heart for some 1,400 crews!

The departure being announced on Thursday February 20, 2025 from the Iraty hall in Biarritz, from now on purchase of advertising space on the vehicle, payment for their lychee kitty are welcome.
