Huerta’s arrival at Anderlecht delayed, but not (too much) worry on the Mauve side – All football

César Huerta should become the first reinforcement of the Renard era at Anderlecht, but the deal will be a little delayed. The Pumas UNAM would try to gain time.

According to the Mexican press, there is no doubt: Cesar Huerta (24 years old) will join RSC Anderlecht and leave Pumas UNAM this winter. He should even already arrive in Belgium this week to sign his contract until 2028 at Sporting.

But transfer window specialist Sacha Tavolieri announces it: the deal is a little late. The Pumas would indeed try to modify some details in the file, in order to save time.

In particular, they would appear to be a little more greedy than expected, while the Mauves should get a good deal since Huerta will be free next June and his club must therefore part with him this winter.

On the Mauve & Blanc side, we are confident: everything is settled between the RSCA and the player, who should therefore sign until 2028 and become Olivier Renard’s first recruit at Anderlecht. A high-level winger, confirmed Mexican international, and followed by many European teams.

It remains to be seen when César “El Chino” Huerta will actually be able to fly to Belgium so that the deal can be formalized. Nothing says that this will not already be done for next week, in order to calmly approach the recovery after the brief winter break.
