The 2025 Dakar Rally will take place at the start of the new year. From January 3 to 17, the participants of the car race will try to succeed the Carlos Sainz – Lucas Cruz pair. The Spanish legend announced last spring that she would try to go for a 5th Dakar.
Among the other crews, several French tandems will represent France. Guerlain Chicherit and Alex Winocq, Christian Lavieille and Valentin Sarreaud or even Mathieu Serradori and Loïc Minaudier will try to shine in the Saudi desert.
Note that Sébastien Loeb will once again be there. Accompanied by Cristina Gutierrez, the nine-time world rally champion will represent the Dacia team. In addition to wanting to go for stage victories, Loeb dreams of finishing in first place in the general classification.
In addition to the Frenchman and Carlos Sainz, a certain Nasser Al-Attiyah could also impose himself, his experience in this environment giving him a certain advantage. The departure will take place in Bisha, and will end in Shubaytah after a long crossing of the Rub al Khali, one of the largest deserts in the world.
