Day of treatment for Arber Xhekaj

Day of treatment for Arber Xhekaj

The Canadian is in Columbus for tonight's game against the Blue Jackets.

There was training scheduled in the morning (11:30 a.m.), and it is relevant to note that Arber Xhekaj had to be absent.

The CH announced a day of treatment for the defender.

That said, it makes you wonder if he will be in uniform tonight.

And ultimately, if Xhekaj is not fit to play, everything indicates that it will be Jayden Struble who will take his place in Martin St-Louis' lineup.

It remains to be continued, so…

Note also that apart from Xhekaj, all the players were on the ice for practice:

I can't wait to see what decision is made regarding Xhekaj.

However, he played the entire last match… And at no time did he seem to be affected by an injury.

Maybe his body is damaged without it being super serious, then.

But if Xhekaj doesn't play and Struble enters the lineup, it will be the latter's first game since December 12. The Pittsburgh Penguins were visiting the Bell Center that evening.

It would be a shame for Xhekaj, on the other hand, since he has been playing really well for a month…

One person's misfortune is another's happiness, as they say!

Prolongation

For tonight's game, Samuel Montembeault will be in net for the Canadian.

It's hard to believe that Cayden Primeau is still in the organization's plans…

Note that it will also be a return for Patrik Laine to Columbus, he who spent three and a half years in the Blue Jackets uniform.

Will he score on his return there? That would make a great story…

And we will have to watch the cannon in Columbus if the Canadian finds himself on the numerical advantage:
