Five Moroccan startups, selected as part of the program STADIUM by MDJS from Accelabmarked their presence during the event Sports Tech Nation 2024held in December in Munich. These companies, pioneers in the field of sporttech, have captured the attention of experts thanks to their innovative solutions.

Thanks to the support of the STADIUM program, they benefited from strategic support covering various aspects, such as business development, strategy and marketing, allowing them to position themselves as key players.

Each startup has made its contribution to the building of sporting innovation:

  1. AI: a performance analysis solution based on artificial intelligence to help players and coaches optimize their progress.
  2. Matchango: an intuitive platform facilitating the organization of sports meetings between amateurs.
  3. My Steps: a motivational app that rewards users for physical activity, encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
  4. WellPass: a service allowing companies to offer unlimited access to gyms and wellness activities via a single subscription.
  5. Tiki Data: advanced data science tools applied to football, providing precise performance analyzes for innovative sports strategies.

Participating in an event of this scale allowed these startups to establish strategic connections with investors and managers of prestigious European clubs. “Thanks to Accelab, we were able to meet the leaders of the biggest European clubs and share enriching discussions with industry experts,” confides Idris Houir Alami, co-founder of Tiki Data.

For Abdessamad Lahmami, Program Manager of STADIUM by MDJS, this success reflects an ambitious vision: “Placing Moroccan sporttech on the international stage is essential to promote our national talents.”

A national ambition turned towards the international

This initiative illustrates the commitment of the MDJS and Accelab to position Morocco as a key player in global sports innovation. By supporting these startups, the STADIUM by MDJS program demonstrates its desire to propel Moroccan talents onto the international scene and actively contribute to the evolution of the sportech sector.

Morocco is now establishing itself as a hub of sports innovation, ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow while consolidating its role in the global sportech ecosystem.
