PREMATCH
The Seattle Seahawks have no choice but to move forward.
After a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers that allowed the Los Angeles Rams – who have the same record, but who have the tiebreaker advantage – to overtake them in the NFC West division standings, the Seahawks are preparing to host another tough opponent from the NFC North division, the Minnesota Vikings.
Even though they no longer have a chance to win their division, this game is crucial to the Seahawks' chances of making the playoffs. Seattle (8-6) has a 36% chance of making the playoffs, according to the NFL, and that probability would increase to 52% if they win.
The Vikings have the opportunity to secure first place in the NFC in the event of a victory.
Dallas a danger, Tampa a mission

PREMATCH
The Dallas Cowboys have no room to maneuver.
To hope to keep their very slim chances of reaching the playoffs, the Cowboys must win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the evening. A defeat, or even a victory for the Commanders against the Eagles, would officially exclude them from the playoffs, a first in four years.
The Buccaneers are on a four-game winning streak and are 8-6, giving them a one-game lead over the Falcons in the South Division. Tampa must maintain this priority because Atlanta has the advantage in the tiebreaker.
A win Sunday would allow the Bucs to tie the second-longest single-season winning streak in franchise history and longest since 2016, and give them a 93% chance of winning the NFC South division, according to ESPN Analytics.
However, the Buccaneers are 0-3 this season in prime time games.
