Zapping Foot National Coupe de France: Calais, Quevilly, El-Biar, … the greatest exploits of the competition
The spectacle was more than there, this Sunday afternoon, during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. In fact, five matches were being played simultaneously… with only one small surprise. Traveling on the lawn of the Abbé Deschamps stadium, USL Dunkerque won by the narrowest of margins against AJ Auxerre. Enzo Bardeli scored the one and only goal of the game in the 26th minute of play and eliminated the Burgundian club as soon as they entered the fray in the oldest competition in France. Another Ligue 1 fell during the 100% elite clash between AS Saint-Étienne and Olympique de Marseille. The club from the Marseille city effectively won with a score of four goals to zero, helped by the expulsion of Ibrahim Sissoko at the start of the match.
Reims, Monaco and Rennes, for their part, were not surprised. Stade de Reims won three goals to one against the Still-Mutzig Association (R1). Gabriel Moscardo, on loan from PSG, opened the proceedings in the eighth minute. At the hour mark, Thomas Schall will reset the counters to zero. A short-lived joy, however, for the amateur club, which will suffer a new goal a few moments later (Diakhon). At the start of the last quarter of an hour, Nhoa Sangui will close the ball. AS Monaco won by the same score against Union-Saint-Jean (R1). The Principality club, which missed two penalties, progressed thanks to Ben Seghir (20th), Vanderson (37th) and Teze (65th). Little Occitan Thumb reduced the gap in the 83rd minute thanks to Benjamin Tournier. Finally, Stade Rennais won four goals to one on the pitch of the Girondins de Bordeaux (N2). However, FCGB opened the scoring through Soufiane Bahassa (18th), ten minutes before Adrien Truffert equalized. SRFC then progressed in the second half thanks to Jordan James (59th), Lorenz Assignon (75th) and Arnaud Kalimuendo (79th).
The results
- Union Saint-Jean (R1) 1 – 3 Monaco (L1)

- Still Mutzig (R1) 1 -3 Reims (L1)
