In addition to the great 5-1 victory of the Montreal Canadiens against the Detroit Red Wings, other events caught the attention.

1. A 24th goal and a 4th winning goal in overtime for Draisaitl
Leon Draisaitl, like every season, always finds himself at the top of the NHL in almost all possible offensive statistics.
And once again this season, Draisaitl is true to form, as he currently leads the entire NHL in goals with 24 goals to his name.
It was also last night that Draisaitl scored his 24th goal of the campaign, while he scored his 4th winning goal in overtime of the season.
To have already scored four game-winning goals in overtime at this point in the season is truly impressive, and it shows how important and clutch a player Draisaitl is.
Thanks to this goal, the Edmonton Oilers narrowly escaped against the San Jose Sharks by a score of 3 to 2.
It's a shame for Yaroslav Askarov, who rejected 39 of the 42 shots aimed at him.
2. Lou Lamoriello keeps a close eye on Alexander Romanov
The New York Islanders general manager is known for being pretty special throughout the National Hockey League.
Whether it's the ban on wearing a beard, or having hair that's too long, Lamoriello sticks to several such rules for his team.
And he's not just special in terms of the rules, but also just in the way he acts.

4. Jonathan Huberdeau s’amuse face aux Blackhawks
