After a season of learning with the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R in WEC, the British team TF Sport will return for a second season with the American GT in 2025.
Four of the six drivers in the 2024 squad are renewed, namely Daniel Juncadella, Tom Van Rompuy, Charlie Eastwood and Rui Andrade. Only Hiroshi Koizumi and Sébastien Baud will therefore no longer be part of the upcoming campaign.
???????? TF Sport announces 2025 FIA WEC lineups
No change on the #81 Corvette with the same trio as in 2024, namely Tom Van Rompuy (Bronze), Rui Andrade (Silver) and Charlie Eastwood (Gold).
However, two changes should be noted on #82. If Daniel Juncadella will once again be the Platinum driver of the crew, he will now make common cause with Ben Keating (Bronze) and Jonny Edgar (Silver).
The American Ben Keating, who will already compete in the 24 Hours of Daytona next month in a Corvette. WEC Champion in GTE Am last year in a Corvette C8.R, he defended the interests of TF Sport in 2021, when Tom Ferrier's team was still linked to Aston Martin. As for Jonny Edgar, he was already in the TF Sport fold this year in LMP2. With, at stake, a title in the European Le Mans Series alongside Louis Delétraz and Robert Kubica.
“2024 was a building year for us and Corvette Racing and it ended with some really positive resultsdeclared Tom Ferrier, boss of TF Sport. I think it shows how much work and determination went into it behind the scenes. For 2025, we have two very good crews and I hope that we can be at the front from the start of the year and return to this place which should be ours as well as that of Corvette Racing. I am very grateful for the support received from GM, Corvette Racing and the drivers who made this program possible. We can't wait to get started in Qatar. »
TF Sport started the 2024 WEC season in Qatar with a pole to the credit of Tom Van Rompuy. The rest was more complicated, but the exercise ended with a double podium in Bahrain, scene of the last meeting of the season.
