The thriller: the Nuggets snatch victory in Sacramento
At the end of the suspense, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Sacramento Kings (130-129), on the latter’s floor, while in the last 85 seconds of the match, the lead changed sides seven times. It was ultimately a jumper from Jamal Murray, served by Nikola Jokic, who won the decision for Denver eight seconds from time. The Serb’s teammates suffered in particular upon returning from the locker room, during the third quarter, where they were largely dominated (35-21) by Domantas Sabonis’ gang (28 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 interceptions). But the Nuggets were able to turn things around in the last quarter, once again helped by their superstar Nikola Jokic, author of a 9th triple-double this season (20 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists), his 140th in his career.
