On the occasion of the annual general meeting, the members of the Piquecos Pétanque association met to discuss the past season and discuss the year 2025. With twenty-seven members (twenty-two present at the meeting, plus two new ones), the season was made up of moments of conviviality and sportsmanship around regular training, qualifications, championships and the organization of an official competition, a first for many years.
The general assembly closed a successful sporting season with the title of departmental champions for a female triplet, Sabrina Devic, Maïté Caballero and Mélanie Correia, and titles of departmental vice-champions in triplets with M.-José and Christine Mirc and Céline Durand and in doublets, thanks to Sabrina Devic and M.-José Mirc. These teams represented Piquecos well outside the department as far as the North.

In the departmental championship, the men’s team narrowly missed the final stages and finished third in their group. Thanks to its second place, the women’s team played the climb. Unfortunately, in the semi-final, Moissac’s team was better. In a convivial manner, with a show of hands, the assembly validated the renewal of the office: president: Marie-Josée Mirc; treasurer : Christophe Bremaud ; secretary : Céline Durand; a new vice-president is elected: Jean-Philippe Gayrard. The colors of Piquecos shine more than ever thanks to new outfits sponsored by the companies SARL Lacaze and SC Enduits and the departmental council.
These colors crisscrossed the department during official and friendly competitions. Members are proud of their club and their colors. The club hopes for the arrival of new recruits for the 2025 season in order to expand its number of members and to be able to organize other friendly events around pétanque. The meeting ends with wishes of happy end of year holidays to all the licensees.
