The holidays are over for Ngalla Sylla and his men. The coach announced a list of 16 players who will begin preparation for the next world championship. This first preselection will be in day school from December 16 to 20. The national team will train at Diamalaye beach. The first session is scheduled for this Monday at 4 p.m.
Of the 16 players called up, we find 11 players from the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations except Raoul Mendy. Remember that the latter was unable to finish the competition due to an injury. The group records the arrival of five new players.
As a reminder, reigning Champion Senegal and unfortunate finalist Mauritania will represent Africa at the next World Cup. For the first time, the World Cup will take place on our continent in the Seychelles Islands. This meeting will take place from May 1 to 11.
