Juventus returned from a great European week, and won 2-0 against Manchester City in the Champions League. The objective was to confirm and finally regain victory in the championship, after several draws in a row. The mission seemed rather simple, because Venice is currently in last place in the Serie A standings.
Juventus quickly opened the scoring, thanks to a goal from Federico Gatti. As a good surface fox, the Italian defender will find himself in the right place, at the right time. The Venice players then went to equalize, but the bianconeri held on until the break. Some time after the restart, Kenan Yildiz will double the lead, but the goal will be canceled because of a handball. The opportunities will then follow one another, but Juventus will not take advantage of them. And what was supposed to happen, happened, Venice reduced the score… They even took the advantage a little later. Thiago Motta’s men, however, snatched a draw at the end of the match, with a penalty from Dusan Vlahovic. Yet another draw, yet another disappointing result…
