For several weeks, Ivan Leko has had to deal with several absences to compose his defensive sector.
For Rouches’ trip to Beerschot this Saturday, the Standard coach is notably deprived of Arnaud Bodart, Nathan Ngoy, David Bates, Alexandro Calut and… Ilay Camara, victim of a slight muscle injury.
By force of circumstances, Leko therefore aligned Boli Bolingoli, returning from injury, on the left lane, while Lawrence, Hautekiet and Sutalo form the central hinge.
Absent last week against Louvain, Bosko Sutalo has just served his suspension for five yellow cards… which Ibe Hautekiet will do against Ghent next week.
Indeed, after only a quarter of an hour, the Standard defender pulled Charly Keita’s jersey, starting a counter-attack. A fairly logical warning, the fifth of Hautekiet’s season, and therefore a new piece of the puzzle to change for Ivan Leko before receiving Ghent.
