The CAF Awards 2024 will be an opportunity to highlight African football, bringing together football stars, coaches and special guests during a prestigious ceremony which will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday next.
Iconic figures of African football will be celebrated for their performances over the past year. Two world-class masters of ceremonies will host this memorable evening, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. local time (6:00 p.m. GMT, 8:00 p.m. Cairo time, 9:00 p.m. East African time).
Kate Scotta renowned sports journalist, previously worked with CNN and SkySports before joining CBS Sports. A polyglot, she is fluent in English, French, Spanish and German, and has hosted numerous world-class events.
She is particularly known for her role as host of prestigious ceremonies such as the Laureus World Sports Awards, which she has presented on several occasions. Most recently, she spearheaded CBS Sports’ coverage of the UEFA Champions League, alongside Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, a show that garnered unanimous praise from critics.
“I’m extremely excited to host the CAF Awards this year,” said Scott. “It will be a privilege to be on stage and in the same room as some of the most influential people in football. I look forward to seeing the continent’s best talents being honoured.

Jalal Bouzraraan experienced Moroccan radio and television journalist, has more than 33 years of experience as a producer of various sports programs, including The Match et The Club. He co-hosted the CAF Awards 2022 in Rabat.
Bouzrara began his career in television production in 2007, developing a series of popular concepts and programs. He frequently collaborates as a presenter with FIFA, CAF and FRMF during events organized in Morocco.
“This is the second time that I have the honor and pleasure of presenting this magnificent CAF Awards ceremony,” said Bouzrara. “I am extremely excited and truly proud to be part of this celebration of the best of our continent. »

Bouzrara is a former member of the AIPS executive committee and vice-president of the Moroccan Sports Press Association. He speaks Arabic, French and English fluently, and is also proficient in Spanish and Portuguese.
