Rayo-Real Madrid: Victory mission at Vallecas

Real Madrid play their last away match of the year in La Liga. Our team wants to achieve another victory against Rayo Vallecano, its twelfth in the competition (9 p.m.), which would give it provisional first place before the end of the day. All this, four days before the final of the Intercontinental Cup which will be played in Doha next Wednesday (6 p.m.).

Winning at the Vallecas stadium is not an easy task. Ancelotti’s men will have to show their best offensive face, as they did against Atalanta. Omnipresent in Italy, Bellingham is going through a great moment of form after scoring six goals in the last seven games. In addition, in La Liga, he has five matches finding the net (Osasuna, Leganés, Getafe, Athletic and Girona).

“We are confident to have a good match against Rayo,” Ancelotti said in press conference pre-match. The Italian cannot be counted among the summoned players on Mbappé, but of course on Camavinga, back in the list, and on Vini Jr. For his return from injury, the Brazilian scored against Atalanta and is the team’s top scorer, with 13 goals.

The forces of Rayo Vallecano
The Madrid team started the day in twelfth place with a record of five wins, four draws and six defeats. Íñigo Pérez’s men host our team after winning their last two meetings, against Valencia in La Liga and Unionistas de Salamanca in the Copa del Rey. De Frutos is their top scorer with three goals.
