If Sébastien Simon (Groupe Dubreuil) and Yoann Richomme (Paprec Arkéa) had made a nice close encounter, the first named returning for a time to 150 miles from the leader Charlie Dalin, the latter once again took his ease at the front. On Wednesday midday, the skipper of Macif Santé Prévoyance was no less than 315 miles ahead of Sébastien Simon and 413 over Yoann Richomme.
The rest of the fleet is further away since Thomas Ruyant, fourth on Vulnerable, is 616 miles behind while Jérémie Beyou (Charal) completes the Top 5 with 764 miles behind the leader. Even much further, Jean Le Cam, who for a time held the head of the ranking during the descent of the Atlantic by cutting east of the Cape Verde Islands, occupies 18e place with 2730 behind on the lead and almost 500 on 17eDamien Séguin (Apicil Group).

At the helm of Tout Commence in Finistère-Armor Lux, Jean Le Cam, who is the first of the straight centerboard boats, incapable of competing with foil boats, has experienced turbulent days in the Indian Ocean.
