The National Hockey League (NHL) will not investigate allegations of raiding by Ottawa Senators owner Michael Andlauer against the New York Rangers.
This is what Renaud Lavoie indicated in his appearance on the JiC show on Tuesday. The hockey expert from the TVA Sports network is currently in Florida for the Bettman circuit governors’ meeting.

This weekend, the renowned journalist from New York Post Larry Brooks wrote that the Rangers had interest in Sens forward Brady Tkachuk. On Monday, Andlauer publicly accused the “Blueshirts” of raiding.
“Bill Daly told me that he met Michael Andlauer here and asked him if he had proof that there was raiding,” said Renaud Lavoie.
“We draw a kind of red line. As long as it remains in the newspapers and it remains a form of speculation, we will accept it and we will not do an investigation,” he added.
However, he believes that the NHL will open an investigation if the owner is able to provide concrete proof that the Big Apple team is scheming.
The Rangers have caused a lot of ink to flow in the last few days, having traded captain Jacob Trouba to the Anaheim Ducks for a pittance.
It also seems that there would be a rebellion from a group of Rangers players against general manager Chris Drury.
“Inside the Rangers locker room, there is still a high level of respect for Jacob Trouba. This is not the end of the broadcasts in this file. This is one of the best soap novels currently in the National Hockey League. We are far from being at the last chapter of this book,” underlined Renaud Lavoie.
