The ceremony will be held next Monday at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, from 7 p.m., with a program rich in entertainment and tributes to the best African players, coaches and clubs.
Morocco will be represented in several categories:
Best African player: Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain).
Best young player: Elias Ben Seghir (AS Monaco).
Best African club: Renaissance de Berkane.
Best women’s team: AS FAR Féminin.
Best African women’s selection: Morocco women’s national team.
As for the women’s distinctions, Sanae Mssoudy (AS FAR) is in the running for the title of Best African Player, while Khadija Er-Rmichi, goalkeeper of AS FAR, is competing for the title of Best Goalkeeper. Mohammed Amine Alaoui, coach of the AS FAR women’s team, is also nominated in the Best Coach category.
