Bad evening for the MAT, great performance for the RCAZ – Today Morocco

The new act of the national championship saw the Renaissance Zemamra move closer to five points from the leader while the MAT continued its poor performances.

With the exception of the match between Olympic Safi and Hassania Agadir on Saturday evening at the El Massira stadium, all the other matches recorded goals. However, even if this duel did not see any achievements, it was marked by numerous facts such as the missed penalty by Chaikhna Samaké in the 70th minute and which could well have disrupted the course of the game. And as a misfortune never comes alone, the locals finished the match with nine after the expulsion of Abdoul Ouedraogo (80th) and Anas Soufeir (90+9th).
At the end of this draw, the OCS provisionally takes 12th place with 15 points, while the HUSA joins Raja Casablanca and the FUS in 8th position (17 pts).
The latter, along with Difaâ El Jadida, served the spectators a most digestible and delicious football dish, the likes of which we rarely see in our national championship.
As if liberated, the players did not spare themselves, pulling out all the stops and delighting the public with an XXL performance. The Kenitra stadium was the scene of one of the most open meetings which ended with a score of 3 goals everywhere.
The capital club’s goals were scored by Anas Serrhat (45+1), Amine Souane (50th) and Soufiane Tazi (76th), while Khalid Baba (32nd), Youssef Arbidi (78th) and Omar Arjoune (89th) scored for the Doukkali club. At the end of this shock, the DHJ temporarily shares fourth place with Wydad de Casablanca, while the FUS is eighth (17 pts).
At the Berrechid municipal stadium, the Maghreb of Fez, after a series of two unsuccessful matches, managed to dictate its law and win on the pitch of the Jeunesse sportif Soualem with a score of 2 goals to 0. The goals of the MAS were registered by Kabelo Seakanyeng (8th) and Mohamed El Badaoui (68th). Thanks to this victory, the Maghreb of Fez moves up in the general ranking to put one foot on the podium and occupy third place with 22 units while the JSS stagnates in 13th place with 14 points.
The rise of the MAS in the ranking is not the only one to be highlighted for the 13th day. Another formation discreetly makes its way until imperturbably reaching second place with a counter which displays 23 points, or 4 units less than the leader the Renaissance of Berkane.
This is the Renaissance of Zemamra who outrageously dominated the Moghreb of Tetouan at home. The locals’ goals were scored by Slimane Bouchkali (10th) and Oualid Sebbar (44th) who scored a nice free kick. If this result propelled the RCAZ, it on the other hand depressed the MAT which remains penultimate with 10 units.
Also, the gap no longer widens with the red lantern. Indeed, Chabab Mohammedia slightly improves its game and reduces the gap with MAT which goes from nine to seven points in the space of two days thanks to its draw obtained on Sunday at the Sports Village stadium in Tangier against IRT ( 1-1). The visitors opened the scoring through Ahmed Rhailouf (36th), before the locals set the record straight through Hamza Elowasti in the second half (58th).
After this draw, IRT joins Olympic Safi, while Chabab Mohammedia is still bottom with 3 points.
