GregMMA, after defeating Billy in a boxing match at DTR Fight, revealed that the streamer had originally planned to face Tibo InShape.
This is information that had not filtered out. At DTR Fight, the boxing event between content creators organized by Billy, Saturday December 7 at La Défense Arena, the main event could have involved France's first YouTuber. According to GregMMA, who won his fight against Billy, the latter initially wanted to challenge Tibo InShape.
“Billy showed a lot of courage. Basically, he was supposed to fight Tibo InShape. It didn't happen, he chose me”, revealed GregMMA in the ring, winner's belt hanging around his waist, without giving further details.
This summer, Thibaud “Tibo InShape” Delapart took part in his first amateur boxing fight. It was in Blagnac, at the beginning of June. He won on points against Thomas Darotchetche.
Will a fight between Billy and Tibo InShape ever happen? Billal “Billy” Hakkar did not comment on this possibility when thanking the public. But he in any case suggested that a second edition of the event could well take place: “See you soon for a DTR Fight 2”.
Billy was injured during preparation
Another revelation during the acceptance speeches at the end of the fight largely dominated by GregMMA: Billy let it be known that he had been seriously injured during his preparation. “This summer, I got injured. I ruptured my anterior ligaments and cracked my meniscus. I had to cancel the fight, normally, but I did it anyway to delight you,” said the streamer.
