The years go by and start to look the same for Trevor Zegras.
Yesterday, while the Anaheim Ducks received a visit from the Vegas Golden Knights, the talented forward fell in action during the game.
Accidentally coming into contact with William Karlsson of the Golden Knights, Zegras collapsed on the ice. Visibly in great pain, he immediately called for help from his team when he was unable to get up on his own.
The nature of his injury is unknown at this time, but it appeared to be serious. Is it his knee, his ankle or his Achilles heel?
It’s a shame since Zegras was just starting to find his cruising speed, he who was on a good offensive streak after a very difficult start to the season.
- Aged 23, Trevor Zegras is a 6’0″/185lbs left-handed center selected in the 1st round (9th overall) in the 2019 draft. So far this season, he has compiled a record of 4 goals and 6 assists for a total of 10 points in 24 matches. He has 2 years remaining on his contract, earning him an average of $5.75 million per season.
Hopefully he will escape without too many consequences, having missed a large part of last season due to multiple injuries.
