Olympique Akbou announced yesterday the departure of its coach, the Algerian-Tunisian Moez Bouakkaz appointed at the start of the season, after a second defeat in a row.
The club, promoted to Ligue 1 this summer, has had a good start to the season, currently finding itself 7th in the standings, but a series of five matches with one victory and four defeats was enough for confidence to be broken. It was the coach himself who mentioned his departure after a 1-0 defeat at Khenchela.
This is the 9th departure of a coach this season after only eleven days in the championship. There is talk of the arrival of Mounir Zeghdoud, recently sacked from US Biskra, to replace him.
